Actress Riva Quenery and her partner Vern Ong had their daughter baptized on Tuesday, April 12.

Photos and clips from the baptism of their child, Athena Rae, were shared online by the couple, their loved ones, and guests.

Spotted at the intimate event were Daniel Padilla, Awra Briguela, Alora Sasam, Christine Samson, and Benedict Cua.

It was in May last year when Riva announced that she was expecting her first child with Vern. She eventually gave birth to their daughter in October.

In an interview with PUSH, Riva said that even after they welcomed a baby together, she and Vern are not in a rush to get married.

"Nung time na nalaman kong pregnant ako, si Vern, gusto na niya talaga. Pero sabi ko sa kanya... no pressure. Kasi ayaw kong madaliin natin. Okay lang naman kung hindi pa tayo ganun ka-ready. Gusto ko ang maging priority muna talaga natin is si baby," she said.

"And parehas din kasi naming naiisip na mas gusto naming ikasal after na ng pandemic, kasi kami ni Vern, we came from a big family. So gusto namin andyan sana lahat. Okay na lahat, kasi hindi naman namin pinapadali parehas."

Riva was last seen in the "Ride Home" episode of the inspirational drama anthology Dear God, which was streamed in January.
