Just a day before Christmas, South Korean actress Son Ye-jin shared a photo of her first child with Hyun Bin. 

In an Instagram post, the Crash Landing On You star greeted her followers Merry Christmas and surprised them with a photo of her firstborn’s feet

Ye-jin said she got through the year with the support of her fans. “Merry Christmas. How is everyone? It's already the end of 2022 I'm doing well thanks to your support and concern,” she remarked. 

She went on to share how magical her year turned out to be with the birth of her child. 

“This year was an even more special year for me. As you know, a precious life has been born to our couple. I would like to express my heart to those who are grateful that I need sincere affection and help from many people until [he was] born,” she wrote. 

While she admitted that she initially felt worried that her child was born a bit earlier than expected, she said still feels grateful for the successful birth of her child. 

Ye-jin then thanked everyone who supported her, including those who were with her through prenatal and postpartum care. 

“There are so many people to be thankful for. I feel like I'm becoming a little adult after having a child. Facing this precious and small life, I realized that we are all someone's daughter and son, and that all babies in this world are shining by their own existence,” she said. 

Ye-jin said she couldn’t be more thankful to have found someone like Hyun Bin. 

“And when I met someone who loves me more than me, I felt that I could do anything at the same time my powerlessness [sic]. After many compliments and emotions, I thought it was obvious that I should live grateful but easy to forget,” she said.

She also assured her fans that she is doing great. “Thank u very much all of u. I hope that the 2022 Christmas will be more special for you and thank you for your hard work in 2022. I will stay healthy and well~I hope you all are happy to,” she said.

Son Ye-jin gave birth last November.
