American a cappella group Pentatonix collaborated with Tony Award winner Lea Salonga released the music video for their rendition of the Filipino Christmas song Christmas in Our Hearts. 

As of writing, the music video has already reached 340,000 views on YouTube.

The collaboration is part of Pentatonix’s latest album, Holidays Around the World which was announced last October.

The legendary Filipina singer expressed her excitement over the arrival of the much-anticipated collaboration on her Twitter account, retweeting the group’s original tweet.

“It’s out!!!! Woo-hoooooooo,” she wrote.

Netizens commented on the music video and shared fond memories of Christmas in the Philippines growing up.

Netizens also thanked the Pinay music icon and the American a cappella group for their rendition of the classic Filipino Christmas song.

Christmas in Our Hearts is just one of the several Christmas songs Pentatonix released as part of their latest album. They got to collaborate with some of the music industry’s biggest stars such as Lang Lang, La Santa Cecilia, The King’s Singers, and Meghan Trainor.

Apart from the release of their album, the American a cappella group is currently touring around the United States as part of their PENTATONIX! A Christmas Spectacular! Tour. They will visit key cities such as Lexington, Indianapolis, and Fort Worth until December 22.
