Nadine Lustre may have turned 29, but she will always remain a little girl in the eyes of her parents.

Fans of Nadine may know very well that her parents aren’t fans of the spotlight. But in times when she needs them, they will always show up for her.

For her 29th birthday, Nadine’s parents penned sweet messages for the Kapamilya star.

Nadine’s dad Ulysses Lustre, for one, shared family photos from their simpler days and a present-day photo of their family. All six of them — including Nadine’s late brother — can be seen in the first photo.

In the second photo, Nadine’s parents can be seen eating out with her two siblings.

Ulysses, in his caption, wished he could turn back time and greeted Nadine with a happy birthday.

“The way we were. . . .’Wishful Thinking’ to ‘Turn Back The Clock.’ Happy Birthday Ate,” he wrote.

Nadine’s mom, Myraquel Paguia Lustre, also hared throwback photos of herself with her daughter to mark the singer-actress’s birthday.

In one of the photos, Nadine can be seen blowing out the candle of a cake during her birthday celebration in 1994. In another photo, Nadine can be seen with her mom on the beach.

Myraquel, in her birthday message, said she wishes nothing but the best for her daughter and hoped that she will overcome any form of adversity that comes her way.

“I wish only the best for you in life,” Myraquel wrote in the caption of her post.

“May you overcome every problem life throws your way, and may you always be confident in the face of adversity. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays and a wonderful year to come,” she added.

Nadine marked her 29th birthday last October 31.
