Following the announcement of his solo single, Jin of BTS surprised ARMYs with news of a live performance in Argentina. This comes after British rock band Coldplay invited the Korean singer to perform his song which they wrote together.

The tweet showed the conversation between Jin and Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin.

Jin’s entertainment agency, BIGHIT Music announced on October 20 that the vocalist will be a special guest at Coldplay’s world tour in the Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires. The concert will be held on October 28 at 7 pm.

“The Coldplay concert will be live-streamed and delayed-streamed in theaters not only in South Korea, but all around the world. The event will be a paid in-person event. For further details, please refer to Coldplay’s official ticket reservation website,” BIGHIT Music wrote.

ARMYs were excited for the BTS member as he will be flying solo without his bandmates with him. Various fans expressed how happy they are for the singer as he shows his talent around the world.

After his solo activities, Jin will be enlisting in the military as mandated by the South Korean government. BIGHIT Music revealed that the 30-year-old musician will cancel the request to further delay his enlistment in late October.

He will be the first member in BTS to do his mandatory military enlistment. The rest will be following soon after as they plan to be a complete group by 2025.

Jin’s first single “The Astronaut” will be released on October 28 at 1 pm KST. He is the second member to release a solo project following J-Hope’s Jack in the Box back in July 2022.
