Celebrities took to their respective social media accounts to show their support for K-pop boy group BTS who held a free concert in Busan last October 15. The K-pop superstars held a free concert in support of the city's bid for the 2030 World Expo.

Miss World 2013 Megan Young and world-renowned actress Lea Salonga shared their experience watching the concert in the comfort of their homes.

Lea aired out her frustrations after the stream of the concert started lagging on her end. She took to Twitter to express the disappointment she felt after watching the show.

“So much for WeVerse and Naver. Clearly, they weren’t prepared to be slammed by that many simultaneous viewers from around the world. Looks like I’ll be depending on clips uploaded to social media for my concert experience. Hoping a full upload is forthcoming. Too mad to sleep,” she tweeted.

After a few hours, she shared how powerful BTS was for making the streaming platform lag with millions of fans watching worldwide.

“Now that I’ve calmed down and thought about it, it’s clear to me that BTS’s power and pull were grossly underestimated. Streaming was ready for 18M, not 50M. Goes to show just how strong our guys are. Not bad for seven ordinary boys from South Korea,” she clarified.

Meanwhile, Megan tried to enjoy the stream after she failed to win the raffle to see BTS live in Busan. Her husband, Mikael Daez, showed glimpses of the beauty queen enjoying the concert while holding her BTS light stick.

“Sinubukan na ni Boneezy lahat. Raffle, prayers, alay pero wala talaga siyang nakuhang tickets for the BTS concert in Busan. Pero in fairness enjoy na enjoy pa rin siya sa livestream! Sinuportahan ko na lang para may concert vibes kahit konti lang,” he shared.

YouTube vlogger Benedict Cua stood for hours in Busan and enjoyed seeing BTS live. He was part of the lucky winners of the raffle that won a ticket to the concert.
