As one of the sexy new actresses introduced in Vivamax’s latest film Sanggano, Sanggago’t Sanggwapo 2: Aussie! Aussie! O Sige!, Angela Morena said she is lucky to get the chance to work alongside veteran comedians Andrew E, Janno Gibbs, and Dennis Padilla.“Pinaka-challenging for me yung naka-eksena ko silang tatlo. Kasi talagang ramdam ko yung panginginig ng paa ko. Pero ibinigay ko talaga yung best ko para hindi manginig at hindi mag-struggle kasi nakakahiya eh. Mga legends at batikan yung makaka-eksena mo. Lalo na since it’s my first movie. So kokonti lang talaga yung may alam na magkapatid kami. Pero hindi ko dini-deny na kapatid ko siya. Pinagmamalaki ko nga na sister ko siya, ganun. Talking about competition, parang wala sa amin yun. Simula bata kami talagang pinalaki kami na talagang mag-suportahan kami. Kung sino ang nasa taas, suportahan, maghilahan pataas. Talagang yun yung laging sinasabi sa amin ng mga magulang namin. Especially si tita Lara Morena. Talagang ako yung nag-decide na palitan yung screen name ko. Si tita Lara Morena, morena siya and morena rin ako. So kailangan meron daw sumunod sa legacy daw niya (laughs). So sumunod ako sa pangalan niya na Morena,” she explained.Although she and her sister are currently being marketed as sexy stars, Angela said this is just part of their bigger goal and they are strengthened by the support given by their aunt Lara.“Actually, gusto talaga namin mag-artista simula bata pa kami, mini-mentor na kami ni tita Lara Morena. Talagang lahat ng auditions pinupuntahan namin. Talagang a decade ago it was just a dream and now we’re living in it. Talagang we’re very grateful kahit na anong role ibigay sa amin. Ito na yung opportunity eh lalo na sa gitna ng pandemya di ba? Gusto namin ma-try lahat ng kinds ng roles. Si tita Lara she’s very supportive. Sobra. Talagang siya yung nag-motivate at nag-encourage sa amin na kahit pagpapa-sexy ito, it is our stepping stone. So talagang supportive siya,” she added. During the Sanggano, Sanggago’t Sanggwapo 2: Aussie! Aussie! O Sige! mediacon, the new actress shared how they planned to celebrate the New Year.“I-se-celebrate namin yung New Year with our family kasama si tito Paolo (Bediones), si tita Lara, si mama ko, uncles, pinsan, tapos yung mga kapatid ko. Sa Okada namin siya isi-celebrate. Yearly talaga ganun ang ginagawa namin. and kami kami lang talaga. But now we are welcoming other friends lalo na yung walang family, yung mga mag-isa lang nag-se-celebrate ng New Year. They are welcome to celebrate with us.
