“I initiated a fundraising campaign kasi may nangyaring unfortunate event sa ating mga kababayan from Visayas and Mindanao and Bohol was one of the areas hit and Bohol is my hometown. I have immediate family there. Mama ko was there, my grandparents, my cousins, yung relatives ko, although we lived apart naman. But the good news is okay naman sila. They’re all okay which is good news nga. Yung relatives ko lang nasiraan sila ng mga properties sa mga houses and sobrang scarce ng water and food. Ang tataas ng pila ng mga grocery stores at gasoline stations which is sobrang nakakalungkot kasi it’s not going to happen if hindi nangyari yung bagyo,” she shared during the media conference for Click, Like, Share.

“I still hope that people can help in a way, donate, and sana soon makabangon sila. Kasi nangyari yung bagyo during the holidays and the New Year which is dapat good vibes and happiness and joy. But things happen. I’m just glad I have supportive fans na sinuportahan ako sa donation drive. I have friends as well. And yung mga mababait na mabubuting mga tao na nag-donate din sa donation drive. We were able to give na yung mga goods sa Bohol. Medyo challenge lang talaga siya kasi walang signal and I’m glad we’re able to help din kahit papaano. This new year let’s try to be better people this year and the following years. Kasi yung mga New Year’s resolutions na yan gawin na lang talaga natin,” she said.
