It’s no secret that Candy Pangilinan and her son Quentin have a mother-and-son relationship like no other.

In a recent Facebook post, Candy touched the hearts of netizens once again after she shared a heartwarming post about her son’s first day of school.

The comedienne — who bought a new laptop for Quentin — revealed that her son offered her the device after she told him she liked it.

“Bought him a new laptop kasi nga borrowing lang siya ng iPad kay Nini. When he saw that I like his new laptop, sabi niya … ‘Mom, yours na lang my laptop. That's your reward for being good. Exchange na lang tayo. I can have your old laptop,’” Candy shared.

The 49-year-old actress said she couldn’t be more thankful for having been given “a wonderful blessing.”

She then encouraged her followers to be “sensitive” to the needs of the people around them, adding that it should start within family members.

“Sensitivity indeed warms the heart of the people around you. We need to be sensitive to the need of the people around us. Let's start with our family members,” Candy said.

Candy Pangilinan’s teenage son Quentin was diagnosed with a developmental disorder called autism. In an Iba ‘Yan interview earlier this year, the actress opened up about what it’s like raising a child with such needs.

Quentin is Candy’s son with her ex-husband Gilbert Alvarado.
