Actress Sam Pinto and pro basketball player Anthony Semerad have welcomed their first child together.

Anthony shared the wonderful news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, September 1, where he shared a glimpse of their newborn baby's hand.

"I’m officially a Dad! So proud of you baby, you were amazing!" he said.

"Hello, Mia Aya Semerad," he added.

Sam, meanwhile, has yet to make an announcement on her social media pages.

Among those who congratulated the couple were Anthony's twin brother Dave and his wife, actress Gwen Zamora; host-model Phoemela Baranda; and fashion designer Francis Libiran.

It was in early May when Sam and Anthony announced that they were expecting their first child together.

In their gender reveal vlog, the couple announced that they were expecting a baby girl, and that they've decided to name her Mia Aya Semerad.

"Because we really love the ocean," the couple said, as they explained the name of their daughter.

"Mia is queen of the ocean, so it's the perfect name. And Aya, it's a very lucky name. Syempre we want her to be lucky," they added.

Sam and Anthony tied the knot in a civil ceremony at Conrad Manila in Pasay in March.
