In an interview with G3 San Diego on Monday, July 26, Bela said she, Neil, and Angel are all "open minded" and "mature" enough to stay friends despite their history.

"Neil is very mature, I'm also very mature. Angel... I still consider a friend. Like I feel like if she needs anything from me or I need anything from her, we can still go to each other. Like there’s no animosity at all," she said.

Noting that their world is "very small", Bela said: "There’s no need for me to cut ties if I don’t have to... The showbiz industry in the Philippines is very small. I don’t want to avoid going to a certain building because I might run into someone. I hate that feeling. Why would I stress myself like that?"

According to the Mañanita actress, it takes a certain level of maturity to end a relationship and still be friends with an ex.

Bela shared that in fact, she often bumps into Angel as they both work for Dreamscape Entertainment a lot. She also recalled being invited to dinner by The General's Daughter actress at one point, after they both won Best Actress at an awards show.
