Actress Aiko Melendez and her former husband Martin Jickain reunited to celebrate the birthday of their daughter Marthena in advance.

Aiko took to Instagram to share photos from their celebration held at Martin's restobar in Quezon City on Saturday, July 24.

Also present during the party were Aiko's current boyfriend, Subic Vice Governor Jay Khonghun, and her son, actor Andre Yllana.

"Advance happy birthday our baby girl. We love you," Aiko wrote in one of her captions.

Marthena is the only child of Aiko with Martin, a former model and actor, whom she married in 2006. Their marriage was annulled in 2010.

Meanwhile, Andre, 22, is Aiko's son with her first husband, actor-politician Jomari Yllana. The former couple got married in 2000, but separated after only about a year after their wedding. Their marriage was annulled in 2004.

Now, Aiko is in a relationship with Jay, whom she first confirmed to be dating in 2018. The two have been together for more than three years.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz last year, Aiko admitted that she and her boyfriend have been talking about having a baby.

"Pero nandoon kami sa proseso na pinag-uusapan namin na gusto ko i-freeze ‘yung egg ko. Para ‘pag dumating ‘yung time na gusto namin,” she said.
