It’s no secret that Joey Marquez has 16 children from different women from inside and outside of the industry. And while he is still capable of having children, the actor-comedian said the time has come for him to stop.

In an interview with entertainment reporter and radio host-turned-YouTube content creator Ogie Diaz, Joey explained the reason behind his decision.

“Kasi baka mag ten years old siya, otsenta na ako.

Matatalo kayo.’”

Joey then shared that each time he got into a relationship in the past, he always made sure to let his partner at the time know that his children always come first no matter what.

Joey also shared why he believes his children don’t get jealous about each other.

“In fairness, I’m so lucky kasi ang mga anak ko, ang pag-treat nila sa isa’t-isa, hindi half-brother, hindi half-sister. Sa amin, there’s no such thing as half-brother o half-sister. It’s either brother or sister lang. Ang kagandahan, very protective sila sa isa’t-isa,” he stated.

Walang ganu’n. Magku-close sila lahat. Saka nagku-communicate sila. ‘Yun ang pinakamaganda,” he added.
