Currently based in the U.S, Wil Dasovich shared in his most recent vlog titled “Mom Got COVID” why his mom Charry had to be left behind while the rest of the family was back in their home in California. Wil explained that his mom went back to the Philippines to visit his grandmother who is based in Mindoro province. Because of the lockdown, his mom was not able to return to Manila right away. His mom tested positive after traveling back to Manila from Mindoro.

The 29-year-old vlogger and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate then showed his mom’s return after five months of being away. His mom Charry, who is a regular fixture on Wil’s vlogs, was sick for an entire month before fully recovering.

Wil also showed his experience after getting his first vaccine dose. “It hit me like a bus,” he said after getting a dose of Moderna vaccine. Before ending the vlog, Wil shared how his mom has returned to her usual routine of gardening, baking, and tidying up the house.
