Seo In-guk and Park Bo-young were all praises for each other as they talked about their new drama Doom at Your Service in a press conference shared by VIU Philippines on Thursday, May 6.

Park Bo-young, who starred in K-drama series like Oh My Ghost (2015), Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017), and Abyss (2019), was asked if she was feeling any pressure, having done successful romance series in the past. She answered, “I think my other co-workers played a big role. And this time, Seo In-Guk also is a great actor so I think I can get a bit of help from him, making the work even better.”

Meanwhile, Seo In-Guk was also asked how it feels to work with Park Bo-young, to which he replied, “Personally, I think she’s perfect… The reason why I say this is I don’t know what other people may think but when we’re working on a scene, Bo-young and I share a lot of similarities in terms of the process and we do our best, we put in our best effort so we have many common traits, things that we want from each other. It was like solving a puzzle, playing a puzzle to make this one project so I think that’s why our chemistry is perfect.” Seo In-guk, who is also a singer, marked his acting breakthrough in the tvN series Reply 1997 in 2012.

Doom at Your Service, which is set to air on tvN on May 10 and to stream on VIU Philippines starting May 11, tells the story of 28-year-old web novel editor Tak Dong-kyung (Park Bo-young) and how she gets involved with Myeol Mang (Seo In-guk), a messenger between gods and humans.
