Newly launched Squad Plus members Andi Abaya and Kobie Brown are getting closer everyday after leaving the Pinoy Big Brother house in March. The PBB love team known to their fans as “KoDrea” have not lost touch after the finale of the popular reality show and have been in constant communication. But Andi admitted love was not a priority for her when she first entered the PBB house. 

“I did not expect to find love. When I entered Kuya’s house, it wasn’t really something I was looking for. I had my objective and that is to be more independent, to grow, and to develop my character and personality. But I am thankful that I met Kobie kasi ang dami kong natutunan sa kanya and he really takes good care of me and he supports me kaya I will forever cherish Kobie,” she said.

During a recent Squad Plus mediacon, Andi confirmed that Kobie is now formally courting her.

“Totoo naman. Nililigawan niya ako. We’re getting to know each other, we’re getting close and napakilala ko na siya kila mommy, kila daddy, ganun. We’re taking things slow. Medyo challenging kasi hindi namin nakikita ang isa’t isa but I feel like it’s not really that big of a challenge for us dahil meron kaming trust, meron kaming support sa sa isa’t isa and we do make time for each other. But then kasi we have priorities, we have things to do, we have other responsibilities. We both respect our time. Nirerespeto din namin yung time para sa sarili namin. Basically hindi namin ginagawang mundo ang isa’t isa and I believe that makes us both mature. That’s what’s keeping us stronger and keeping us closer,” she shared.

Despite being physically apart, Andi says it is not an issue between them. “I can say that we’re getting closer and mas nakikilala namin yung isa’t isa dito sa outside world. Everything’s okay naman. We’re supporting each other and we’re super duper proud of each other. Nakikita ko na ginagawa ni Kobie yung best niya sa pag-a-achieve niya nung mga pangarap niya dito sa industry and at the same time yun din ang ginagawa ko. We are here for each other and sinusuportahan namin ang isa’t isa,” she said.
