Derek Ramsay remarked that despite parting ways with Andrea Torres, both of them are on good terms.

“We have no hate towards one another. I don’t think so. I don’t think she hates me and I definitely don’t hate her and her family,” he said in an interview with Pops Fernandez in her recent YouTube vlog.

According to the actor, the breakup happened all of the sudden.

“We were together for over a year and it was very sudden. When the breakup happened, it came out of nowhere. It kind of blindsided me,” he stated.

He added that their breakup was a mutual decision.

“It was both of us. We ran across a little problem that became something much bigger and I guess we both realized that it was something na both of us cannot make certain adjustments to,” he shared.

Did they have closure already?

“I think that will come with time but definitely no hate, no regrets," he said.

Derek is now in a new relationship. He recently admitted that Ellen Adarna is his new girlfriend.

"May spark talaga. Sobrang laking spark. We just really are enjoying each other’s company. Sobra," the actor said in an interview with PEP about meeting Ellen for the first time.

Derek described their relationship as "walang dull moment."

“Sa isang month, meron na kaming tawanan. Meron na kaming tampuhan... lahat meron na," he remarked.
