As their soap Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin enters its finale week, Kira Balinger looked back on their taping experience and had nothing but gratitude for her onscreen partner Grae Fernandez.

“Every scene is always memorable with him kasi lagi siyang nagbibigay. Tapos naaalala ko pa dun sa paborito kong scene ko which was yung aminan, there were times where we would have to cut para ilipat yung camera tapos alam mo yun the noise was very distracting. So there was a few minutes where I had to like recalibrate and get back into the scene and Grae was there talking back at me like Jake talaga, para ma-feel ko ulit si Hope. And talagang napakalaking tulong yun sa akin nung time na yun. So thanks Grae for that. I’m glad na ikaw yun,” she recalled.

More than their professional relationship as the successful love team known as “KiRae,” Kira said she wants to thank Grae for their offscreen relationship as well. “I definitely want to thank Grae for the friendship that he’s given me. I’m very grateful na nag-open up din siya sa akin and to the rest of the cast din. So thank you Grae for letting me in and getting to know you. Nothing specific naman pero the fact na mas nag-uusap kami ang nagkakuwentuhan and we eat together, natutuwa ako doon,” she said.

When asked if she considers Grae as boyfriend material, the 20-year-old Kapamilya actress said they are both not ready to take their relationship past the friendship level just yet.

“Well I have to be very honest with you. I cannot lie sa inyong lahat. Sa panahon ngayon, I would just really like to enjoy the friendship that I have with Grae right now. Pero in the future, we don’t know. Nothing is set in stone. I’m not closing my doors or anything. We both have a lot of maturing to do as of now pero in the future, tingnan natin,” she added.
