Ruffa Gutierrez opened up about her breakup with French-Israeli businessman Jordan Mouyal.

Reflecting on her six-year relationship with Jordan before they parted ways last year, Ruffa said, "It’s easy to fall in love but it takes work to stay in love," she said in the virtual press conference of TV5's Stay-In Love as reported by PEP.

The actress said that she is happily single at the moment.

“With me, I just came out of a relationship and I’m happily single right now. So, as of now, I’m just happy. I don’t know. Para akong nabunutan ng tinik," she said.

Ruffa said that at the time being, she wants to concentrate on herself and on her children, Lorin and Venice Bektas, rather than entering a new relationship.

"I’m not sure if I’m ready for another relationship yet. I think at this point, I just want to concentrate on my career, my kids. And you can always be happy and be in love on your own," she stated.

Ruffa also shared that when it comes to her ex-partners, she never harbored bitterness towards them.

"Lahat ng mga relationships ko in the past, wala akong sama ng loob sa kanila. I always learn something from each and every person that I’ve fallen in love with," she remarked.

The actress added, "Move on to the next chapter and you just thank them for the reason that they have brought you happiness."

Ruffa is hoping that the next person she will be in a relationship with will be the one.

"I’m at the point in my life where ayoko na ng detours. I’ll just stay happy and wait for my forever love," she said.
