Simon Cowell took to social media to offer advice to his followers after he broke his back when he fell off his electric bike on Saturday, August 8 (US time). The "America's Got Talent" judge had to undergo surgery because of the incident according to a report of CNN.

On his Twitter page, Simon posted, "Some good advice... If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages."

He also extended his gratitude to the medical staff who have been taking care of him at the hospital.
