YouTube vloggers Jayzam Manabat and Camille Trinidad, who are more popularly known as JaMill, are now part of the Star POP family with the upcoming launch of their single “Tayo Hanggang Dulo” on July 24, Friday. The couple, who previously released their two other singles independently, were happy to be approached by Star POP for their third single which was written for them by PPL talent manager Perry Lansigan and Star POP.

The real-life couple, whose relationship has been going strong for more than three years now, has also been vlogging since 2017. They admit that their new single is a representation of their love. “Yung kantang yan pinaghugutan talaga namin sa kung ano kaming dalawa. Kami hanggang dulo. Kasi yun yung mapanghahawakan namin sa ngayon po, yung paninindigan sa isa’t isa na papanindigan kita, ipaglalaban kita. Kahit hindi talaga tayo sure na kayo hanggang dulo, gawin niyo lang yung best niyo sa isa’t isa sa ngayon,” Jayzam said.

Currently with 10.3M subscribers on YouTube, Jamill has become known as the fastest growing YouTube celebrity couple account in Southeast Asia. The couple said they are not letting their newfound fame get into their heads. “Kasi pag nalunod ka sa fame, power, and sa money, parang maliligaw ka ng landas pagka isiniksik mo sa isip mo yan. Kaya kami ni mareng Camille, enjoy lang kami. Simple lang kami and kung ano man yung marating namin, ganun pa rin kami kung ano kami nung nagsimula, ganun pa rin yung galawan naming dalawa. Priority namin talaga namin is magpasaya lang,” Jayzam explained.

When asked whether they can translate the support of fans from their vlogs to their music career, Jamill is confident that the “mandirigmas” will not let them down. “Sa tingin ko masusuportahan nila kami sa mga ginagawa namin kasi nakapagkanta na kami dati. Natuwa rin sila kasi sa simpleng tao na tatambay tambay lang diyan sa labas na puro kasiyahan lang eh meron din pa lang ma-o-offer na ganitong klase ng kanta, to help them be inspired pa lalo and makaka-relate through music,“ Jayzam said.

Camille said that the secret to their popularity lies in their being honest on and off camera. “Para sa akin kasi, natural lang talaga kami. Kung ano yung nakikita niyo sa camera, sa personal ganun kami, medyo bawas lang ng konting kalokohan. Basta maging totoo lang,” she said.

With their musical career off to a good start with Star POP, the couple said they’re not making any other major plans for the future yet. “Sa ngayon ini-enjoy muna namin kung ano yung puwede namin gawin sa YouTube kasi na-e-enjoy namin yung pagpapasaya sa mga tao and hindi namin pinaplano kung ano man yung mapupuntahan namin sa susunod,” Jayzam added.
