Kinumpirma na ng Miss International Organization ang pagkansela na pageant activities at coronation para sa taon ng 2020 ng Miss International pageant.

Sa inilabas na official statement ng Miss International organization pinahayag nila ang kanilang desisyon na ipagpaliban na muna ang pagpapasa ng 60th edition sana ngayong taon ng Miss International pageant dahil sa COVID-19.

At sa dahil sa cancelation ng pageant ngayong taon, inanusyo rin Miss International Organization ang bagong age limit para sa mga aspiring beauty queens na naudlot ang pangarap na maging susunod na Miss International.

Kung dati ay 18-27 years old ang age limit, adjusted na rin ang age limit para sa susunod na edisyon ng Miss International.

“Miss International age limit has changed! For the 60th Miss International, we are very pleased to announced that we will accept national delegates who are between 18 to 28 years old!,” statement ng Miss International pageant sa kanilang social media post.

Matatandaan na postponed until further announcement naman ang desisyon ng Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc kung itutuloy pa ba ang inaabangan na Binibining Pilipinas 2020 kung saan kokoronahan ang kandidata mula sa Pilipinas.

Si Patricia Bea Magtanong ang reigning queen ng Binibining Pilipinas International na inaasahan na magpapasa ng titulo sa susunod na kandidata.
