South Korean group BTS was the big winner at MAMA 2020.

In yet another unprecedented moment, BTS made a record-breaking feat at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards as the K-Pop septet won all four Daesangs or the top awards for the second consecutive year.

Among the awards BTS took home were the Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Worldwide Icon of the Year.

Despite the hurdles brought about by the ongoing health crisis, MAMA pushed through this year with no live audience but with artists in attendance.

Unlike the previous editions of the awards show which airs simultaneously in different locations including Hong Kong and Japan, the MAMA 2020 took place in South Korea for the first time.

Hosted by Song Joong-ki, the ceremony for the 22nd edition of MAMA took place in Paju, South Korea.
