Former Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition housemate Aldred Gatchalian, who is currently based in the US, has received Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine.

He said, “Received my 1st dose of Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine today at work. I will give you guys an update if I experience any adverse reactions."

He did not reveal though why he became one of the early recipients of the vaccine but the US has been prioritizing "frontline essential workers" and people aged 75 years old and above to receive the vaccine first.

Aldred joined the first teen of edition of Pinoy Big Brother in 2016 wherein Kim Chiu was declared as the winner.

Marami akong natutunan at nakilalang mga taong nagpabago sa mga pananaw ko sa buhay ko sa ngayon. Marami akong na-experience na kahit kailanman di ko naisip na mangyayari sa buhay ko. Lalo na ang pag-aartista. At lahat ng yun ay babaunin ko hanggang sa pagtanda ko. It literally changed my life!" he said.
