With the Kapamilya series Ang sa Iyo ay Akin starting shooting their second season this month, Joseph Marco said he was more than happy to join the cast as its newest member.

“Two weeks kaming nag-tape two weeks ago and then two weeks break so nakapagpahinga talaga ako ng sobra and I’m so ready to work. Kakabasa ko lang ng bagong script namin and all I can say is wow, sobrang excited ako for that. I can’t wait for everyone to see all the episodes namin,” he said.

The Kapamilya actor said he appreciated all the safety precautions taken during their lock-in taping.

“Ang maganda naman kasi dito sa lock-in, it’s such a great team. Very inspiring lahat ng tao. Ang bait nila, ang gaan katrabaho, and the challenge here is yung being away from your loved ones. Yun yung pinaka challenge dito. Yung wala ka sa bahay mo, wala ka sa comfort zone mo, and andito kami to really work and to focus with the project. I think maganda siya for characterization kasi talagang for two weeks ikaw yung character na yun. So dalang dala mo yun. Walang risk of distraction na outside world and with the family and stuff, so talagang okay siya for me,” he explained.

After working on the crime thriller series The Bridge which was shot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia earlier this year, Joseph said he has new lessons to apply in his latest project.

“The way they did it, talagang nag-co-collab sila, talagang open sila to suggestions and nakaka-inspire lang. Ako naman kasi, when I see something effective I always apply it. Yung mga bagay na natutunan ko abroad, I apply it especially here kasi it’s been parang almost eight months din last akong umarte in front of the camera and lahat ng natutunan ko dun, ito yung unang show na napag-apply-an ko,” he shared.

Playing the role of Christian Salvador, the ex-boyfriend of lead actress Rebecca Lim who plays a cop on The Bridge, Joseph said his role in Ang sa Iyo ay Akin will be very different.

“Yung difference ng character, actually ibang iba sila. But we’re going to everything to protect our lady and ibang iba yung back story nila , iba yung pinanggalingan nila, iba yung bubog nila and iba yung bitbit nila. There’s so much I want to say about my character pero I can’t say. Madaming revelations sa character so I don’t want to say anything,” he said.
