After four years of being together, actor Buboy Villar and his non-showbiz American partner Angillyn Serrano Gorens have finally called it quits. The young couple have two children, three-year-old Vlanz and one-year-old George Michael who are currently under the care of Angillyn’s parents while Angillyn is in the U.S to work and save up for her children’s future.

The split, which was a mutual decision by Buboy and Angilyn, was confirmed through an interview with Angillyn’s younger sister Veybillyn Gorens on the PEP website last October 4, Sunday. Angillyln revealed that it’s been two years since she and Buboy separated and realized that it was not going to work out. “Mutual decision naman na maghiwalay kami at maging parents na lang sa mga anak namin. Feeling ko, mas naging okay naman both sides," she shared.

Angillyn also revealed why their children are staying with her parents instead of with their father. “Marami nagtatanong sa akin at sa vlog ni Buboy kung bakit sa bahay nakatira 'yung mga anak namin. Ang dahilan dun is dati kasi nagti-taping si Buboy halos araw-araw. Hindi niya rin maaalagaan mga anak namin, at sa bahay naman nila maraming batang inaalagaan mama ni Buboy. So we both decided sa bahay na lang 'yung mga anak namin dahil maaalagaan naman sila mabuti nila Mama at Papa. Sobrang thankful kaming dalawa ni Buboy sa parents ko kasi sobrang spoiled at alaga sila,” Angillyn explained.

Robert “Buboy” Villar first joined showbiz when he auditioned for Little Big Star in 2007. He was a member of the young singing group Mak and the Dudes along with fellow Little Big Star winner Makisig Morales and Jairus Aquino, Rhap Salazar, and Kyle Balili. Buboy is best known for his role as a young Manny Pacquiao in the biographical sports film Kid Kulafu in 2015. He started dating Angillyn in 2015 but only admitted their relationship in 2016 when they started living together.
