Halata sa aktres na si Mylene Dizon, bida ng Cinemalaya film na Belle Douleur (Beautiful Pain) na wala sa bokabularyo niya ang magpakasal sa kanyang live-in partner na si Jason Webb.

“I’m just surrounded by so many people whose marriages have fallen apart where in the beginning they were fine.

“Siguro marami ang magsasabing marami namang successful marriages, yes of course there are. Pero I am surrounded by failed marriages, and I’m in a very good place right now, why rock it?

“Puwede ko siyang gawin bago ako mamatay, if I really want to. But the pain that I saw that my friends had experienced is not something that I want to experience now,” dire-diretsong pangangatwiran ng aktres sa usaping kasal.

Wala ring pakialam ang aktres sa kung anuman ang sasabihin ng ibang tao sa kanyang desisyon dahil aniya, choice niya naman ito.

“Of course, sabi ng iba, ‘puwede ka namang lokohin ng boyfriend mo. Of course, puwede pero hindi ko sila asawa.

“Mas madaling takasan. Maraming magbabatikos, pero choice ko to eh.

“Bakit ba? Eh di magpakasal kayo!” pagbibiro pa nito.

Nakatira ang mag-partner ngayon sa Cavite. Kasama nila ang mga anak ni Jason sa unang asawa nito at ang dalawa ring anak ng aktres kay Paolo Paraiso.

Matipid din ang aktres sa pagbibigay ng detalye about her private life.

“Because these people -- if you talk about my children, my boyfriend, my mom, my brothers -- these people that I enumerated are private people. So it’s something that you have to respect.

“I mean, it’s not my position to put them in the limelight. Kahit ako, I’m not in the limelight, I’m just an actor, but I’m not a celebrity,” huling pahayag ni Mylene sa PUSH.
