Black Sheep on Friday released the official trailer of 'Open', hurting viewers as early as now with the complicated love story of Arci Munoz and JC Santos's characters -- Rome and Ethan, who try to salvage their stale relationship by being open to others sexually.

The teaser opens with Rome and Ethan celebrating their 14th anniversary as a couple. While Rome expects him to pop the question, Ethan laughs off the subject, and soon proposes the idea of having an open relationship.

Though she disagrees, Rome is forced to go along, or else lose her partner altogether. Ethan soon begins having sexual encounters with Erika (Ina Raymundo), while Rome tries to do the same with other men, but in the end fails to see the benefit of an open relationship.

The highlight of the trailer sees the couple in a heartbreaking confrontation at the latter part of the video, where Rome, in tears, asked Ethan, "Kulang na kulang ba ako?" Reactions online catapulted 'Open' to rank among the top trending topics on Twitter shortly after the teaser's launch.

Co-produced with T-Rex Entertainment under the direction of Andoy Ranay, 'Open' is an official entry to this year's Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, which is scheduled to kick off on September 13.
