Liza Soberano has undergone yet another surgery for her fractured finger.

A certain Joni Lyn Castillo-Pillarano, who the actress fondly calls “tita”, made the announcement by sharing videos of Liza post-surgery through her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

As seen in said videos, Liza, who is currently in Los, Angeles, California for the treatment, was also accompanied by her supportive boyfriend, actor Enrique Gil.

Earlier, the 21-year-old had undergone an internal fixation, or a type of surgery used to fix broken bones, for her injured finger, which she acquired during the taping of her television series "Bagani".

The injury would later force the actress to give up her role as Darna in the millennial reboot of the superhero classic.

Hi everyone!!! I know I’ve been M.I.A these past few weeks and I’m sorry for not updating you guys sooner. My managers and I decided to take this time for me to recover fully. I came to LA almost 3 weeks ago thinking I would be here for only 2 weeks. I was supposed to have surgery to remove my plates but, it turns out that we were dealing with more than just protruding hardware. During surgery the doctor discovered that my bone wasn’t healed and that I also had a bone infection (no one is to blame for the infection it just happens sometimes). So now I’m taking anti-biotics through a picc line on my left arm. As soon as my infection is clear I will have my 2nd (and possibly 3rd) surgery. Thats pretty much it. I just want to thank my tita Joni, my managers and ABS-CBN for taking good care of me all throughout this process. Lizquens and Liza supporters thank you for all the get well soon messages. "Nagkaroon ako ng bone infection tapos the doctor had to take out the titanium na nilagay noong nasa Philippines ako," said Liza in a video shared by her manager, Ogie Diaz.

"Tapos after tanggalin, they had to put the stabilizer kasi hindi kaya ng bone na siya lang," she added.

According to Liza, she would have two stay in the US for two more months to undergo another operation, which marks her fourth since she started her treatment for the fractured finger.

"Six weeks kailangan nandito 'yong stabilizer tapos 6 weeks din po ako mag-antibiotics," she said.

"Kailangan ma-make sure na totally wala akong infection before we do the second operation, which is pang-fourth operation ko na," she added.
