Tawag Ng Tanghalan Season 2 Grand Champion Janine Berdin’s success story isn’t new to anyone. While she already had a fair share of exposure on television ever since she was a kid, she had to temporarily step out of the spotlight and pursue her studies in her hometown in Cebu. But unknown to many, the Cebuana songstress’ audition in the country’s premier competition was unlike any other.

“Si Janine, actually - when I was doing “Pilipinas Got Talent” in Cebu, we were filming, if I’m not mistaken, last November. We had a simultaneous audition po in Mactan. Dun namin nakuha si Janine,” explained TNT Records head Peter Dizon.

Then, he added, “So nag-audition siya sa pinaka-quaint na setup ng TNT kasi sa tagal din po namin sa ere halos lahat ng audition process nagawa na namin. From campus to magdiscover sa mga barangay. Dun po sa time na ‘yun nag-audition po kami sa taas ng Gerry’s Grill. Dun siya nag-audition. Dun namin siya nakuha.”

Janine Berdin is set to take part in an upcoming concert featuring other TNT singers on July 28 at the Big Dome.
