Juan Miguel Severo, who took up Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, explained why he had to place his sablay on the right side of his shoulder when he recently attended UP College of Mass Communication's commencement exercises.

"It was weird and awkward to be the only one with their sablay on the right shoulder the entire time (that means I didn't graduate), but it's such an honor to perform for the graduates and the faculty of the college I love. Thank you, Maskom," he wrote.
