"Being able to shuffle my time between semi-working, full-time studying and having a pretty decent social life was a blast, but I do not want to romanticize this and make it seem like my life has always been in tiptop shape, even though it seems that way in social media. Please know it wasn't easy," she wrote on Instagram.

"Mostly, this meant I had to waste some opportunities and prioritize and that I had to function with less sleep or sometimes just 15-minute naps while in the car (especially during internship!) There were a lot of breakdowns and tears and wrongfully redirected frustrations and everything else in between that you did not see behind the cameras. Not very healthy at all. She added that her boyfriend John Manalo was her inspiration and never was a distraction in pursuing her dreams. "And if @manalojohn was a distraction? Never. He was my inspiration, my support system, my cheerleader. So if anybody ever tells you to not go into a relationship because this will stop you from getting your dreams? It's a lie. You just need the right guy. 😊 Rabara, Erika C. University of Santo Tomas. B.S. Medical Technology. Cum Laude," she posted.
