Richard Gomez is still on cloud nine after yesterday’s successful premiere night of his comeback film, Three Words to Forever. Aside from the swarm of fans and the media, there was his unica hija, Juliana Gomez, together with Sharon Cuneta’s daughter, Frankie Pangilinan, to see the movie as show of support to their parents.

“My daughter [Juliana] said last night na it was such a fantastic family movie. Alam mo naman yung anak ko, movie fan ‘yan eh, parang nanay niya ‘yan eh,” said the Ormoc City mayor during a blog conference earlier today, November 28.

Speaking of Juliana’s mother, many have noticed Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez’s absence from the launch. Apparently, it was a conscious choice from the model-turned-politician to not go, as revealed in the interview by Richard himself. “Si Lucy, kapag yung movie ko, kunyari may ka-love team, hindi talaga siya pumupunta. Siyempre, para hindi ma-disturb yung mga fans. Kami ni Dawn [Zulueta], meron kaming movie [noon] na ‘Love Affair’, ‘di rin pumunta si Lucy doon. [Ngayon], yung movie namin ni Sharon, ganun din. Ayaw niyang nai-istorbo yung mga fans, gusto niya yung fantasy [nila] andoon,” said the actor matter-of-factly.

Meanwhile, Richard also reacted to bashers of his love team partner and former girlfriend Sharon Cuneta for supposedly being too “touchy-feely”. “Siyempre, kanya kanyang reaksyon din ‘yan eh. You have to give it to them, may mga ganun talaga. Pagbigyan mo na lang, kaligayahan na lang nila ‘yon,” answered the actor candidly, who went on to confess that he, too, is guilty of giving his own bashers a taste of their own medicine sometimes.

“Alam mo naman ako, mapagpatol ako ‘no. Marami [na akong pinatulan]. Sometimes to hit them back, you have to speak their language,” said Richard.

The actor invites everyone to watch “Three Words to Forever”, also starring Kathryn Bernardo and introducing Tommy Esguerra, in cinemas nationwide.
