Sa Tonight with Boy Abunda, inamin ni Direk Paul Soriano na nagkaroon siya ng dalawang girlfriend bago niya nakilala ang kanyang asawa na si Toni Gonzaga. Ang unang girlfriend naman daw niya ay “I think I was fourth year high school na. She was my best friend.”

Inamin din niya na magaganda ang mga naging girlfriend niya at maraming siyang natutunan mula sa kanila. “Beautiful, beautiful women… I learned a lot from them.”

Bukod sa mga girlfriend ay nagkaroon din daw si Paul ng “fun times.” “I had fun also. I had those fun times with girls you meet, or you end up having a little bit of friendship, it becomes a little bit of flirting and this and that.”

Pag-amin ni Direk Paul, “I was very immature at that time, I was very spontaneous and not really caring about tomorrow… but now I guess I’ve matured.”

Ganunpaman, si Toni pa rin daw ang kanyang first love. “Tin is really my first love. Only because I chose and I made a decision on my own to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Giit ni Direk Paul, “Tin’s my first love. She’s my inspiration also. She showed me a kind of love that I’ve never experienced before and only Toni could show me that love and Seve. It’s unique and she’s the mother of Seve and our future children.”

Sinabi din ni Direk Paul na gusto pa daw niya ng isa pang anak.

Nitong June 2018 ay tatlong taon nang kasal sina Toni at Direk Paul.
