It was announced recently that James Reid would be playing the role of Pedro Penduko in the new film adaptation of the iconic Pinoy character. The announcement set fans wondering if Nadine Lustre would also be part of the movie.

In an interview with Darla Sauler for PUSH NOW NA Exclusive, Nadine Lustre was asked regarding the matter.

Will she star in the movie? “Sabi nila… Ewan ko kasi alam mo naman ako pag sinabi sa akin siyempre si James ‘yun susuportahahan ko ‘yan pag sinabi nila. Kahit cameo ‘yan, go ako diyan di ba, siyempre. Sabi nila Maria Makiling daw, sabi ni Boss [Vic] sa akin,” she said in the interview.

Nadine was also asked by Darla about her hiatus from Instagram. The actress removed her profile photo from the social networking site recently and became inactive. The actress shared that she did it because she wanted to have a “social media fasting”.

“[Pero] babalik na ako ng Instagram, sabi ko mag one month ako na break pero hindi naman one month pero parang ganon. Hindi ko siya ma-deactivate kasi verified siya so sabi ko sabagay babalik pa rin naman ako pero tinaggal ko ‘yung app, tinanggal ko din [‘yung profile photo]. As in nag ano talaga ako, [social media] fasting, parang ganon, parang nag-hibernate ako from social media,” she shared.

She relayed that she liked her time off from the social media. “Honestly din naman nag-enjoy ako kasi hindi ako masyadong nagbro-browse. Nagche-check lang ako pag importanteng messages lang,” she stated.

Nadine also recounted her recent experience hiking on Mt. Ulap with James and her friends. “Three hours [‘yung akyat] pero sobrang worth it kasi ang ganda ganda niya. Imagine nong umakyat kami maaraw pa siya tapos nong pababa na kami ng bundok umuulan na so foggy so para kang nasa ibang mundo,” she stated.
