A newbie in the industry, Tanduay’s calendar girl and singer Kara Mitzky often gets compared to sexy actress Ellen Adarna.

When asked if she can keep up with Ellen’s daring image, Kara said that she is more focused on honing her talent – which is singing. She also mentioned wanting to act during her upcoming concert’s press conference.

“’Yung beauty at ‘yung kasexy-han, bonus na lang. Glam team naman din ‘yung nagte-take care diyan pero mas nagfofocus talaga ako sa talent. Kasi sa’kin, ‘yung paghuhubad hindi naman po talent… at saka tingin ko, mas sexy naman po ako kay Ellen.”

When asked if she thinks she can surpass Ellen’s popularity, Kara replied, “Sana po, sana naman kasi sa’kin, kung public figure tayo, siyempre dapat ‘yung image natin, nakakainspire din tayo ng mga kabataan,” adding that she has no vices.

Sharing how she is as a person, Kara said, “Sa’kin kasi, very important ‘yung nagset ka ng good example sa mga kabataan and during my spare time din talaga, very active din ako sa mga charity works, sa mga outreach programs so nagigive back tayo kay Lord ng mga blessings na binibigay sa’tin.”

With this, Kara said that she is not saying that Ellen is not a good example, “I’m only talking for myself.”

According to Kara, she met Ellen in a show in Davao recently. However, she admitted that their encounter was slightly off as they did not get to talk to each other despite being seatmates on the plane.
