Miles Ocampo reveals how she balances her showbiz career and her studies

Miles Ocampo is currently taking a creative writing course in college. The teen actress admitted that she has always been grade conscious even if she is busy with her work in showbiz, always seeing to it that that she still excels in school.“Ano kasi ako, OC ako. Halimbawa may kailangan ako gawin, nakalista siya talaga. ‘Yung planner ko nga eh iba’t ibang kulay, ibang color for school, ibang color for work. Siguro ‘yung pag-balance lang talaga ng time kasi mahirap talaga. Halimbawa pag-tengga sa taping nag-aaral talaga ako, nag re-review talaga ako,” she said.She added that when she needs to miss school, she makes sure that her requirements are complete. “Kung maga-absent man ako, sobrang sabi nga ng mga teachers ko nong high school, ako ‘yun daw ang talent ko parang mas kompleto pa ‘yung requirements ko kaysa sa mga regular na pumapasok kasi ayaw ko talaga ‘yung feeling na ‘yung may nami-miss ka na activities, requirements. Nandon talaga ‘yung gusto ko talaga ‘yung pag-aaral,” she stated.Miles confessed that it has been challenging balancing school and showbiz. ”Hindi rin biro pagsabayin ang pag-aaral at trabaho pero nandon kasi ‘yung dedication talaga parang alam niyo ‘yung feeling na kapag hindi ka na-stress sa school parang may kulang sa ’yo parang hahanap hanapin mo siya,” she stated.Miles’s hard work has paid off because she remains in the top tier of her class. “Oo minsan [kasali sa Dean’s list], [kasali ako sa] college scholar,” she shared.
