Kapamilya actor and singer Elmo Magalona renewed his contract with Universal Records on Tuesday afternoon, October 24.

“I’ve been with Universal (Records) for two years and then I put out one album with them and also different kinds of projects with them so this renewal means a lot to me because they really helped me achieve my first album,” a cheerful Elmo told Push.

While he prefers to keep his upcoming projects with the music label a secret for now, Elmo is looking forward to releasing his next album.

Revealing that he is the one composing the songs, Elmo said, “Actually, hindi ko pa siya tapos lahat eh, but I have songs that I… In fact, maybe my whole album is gonna be purely talagang written by myself. Pero not just by me naman. Parang I still have people collaborating and helping me complete songs.”

“Basta magiging moody siya siguro. Moody, kasi pang iba-ibang mood siya,” he described its genre.

For now, Elmo prefers to keep his collaborators a secret.
