Viva Artists Agency officially released a statement to TV Patrol about their talents Anne Curtis and James Reid yesterday afternoon (September7) regarding drug testing. Both stars tested negative.

'Ms. Curtis and Mr. Reid are aware of and give importance to the influence of artists in society as role models to the youth.

'Thus, VAA and its artists have taken the initiative to publicize the results to inform the public of the truth and to show support for the government’s campaign against illegal use of drugs,' VAA said, and included the laboratory results from Hi-Precision Diagnostics in Mandaluyong City.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News reporter Mario Dumaual, James said he was never worried because he knows he is drug-free.

“I saw in the tabloids our names so we immediately went to the clinic to have ourselves tested just to clear our name. I wasn’t worried. I just wanted my name cleared as soon as possible,” he remarked.
