Enchong Dee, the lead actor of the upcoming Regal Films movie I Love You To Death, said that he was game when he was informed of a new movie with actress Kiray Celis.

Saying that he wants to do something new and experimental as he keeps doing the same things in movies, Enchong said, “Noong sinabi sa akin na si Kiray ‘yung makakasama, sabi ko, ‘go kasi kakaiba ‘to, unique.’” He added that he really wants to go back to acting.

In the movie, the two will share intimate scenes. How did Kiray feel about it?

Kiray, who initially cracked jokes, answered, “Wala naman akong pinipili eh… At saka in a good way naman ‘yung naglalambingan kami, hindi ‘yung kalandian lang... Sino ba namang artista ang papayag na magmukhang bastos sa isang eksena, di ba? Wala naman eh. So as much as possible, kapag okay naman, go. Ayoko sa lahat ‘yung may hinihindian talaga ako. Gusto ko kasi kapag sinabi sa akin, kaya kong gawin ‘yan. Ayokong tumatanggi kahit na sa mga roles.”

Talking about what seems to be a wild kissing scene in the movie, Enchong said that Kiray was feeling awkward as she is not used to such acting. “So when everyone (on the set) was teasing her, pinagtatawanan siya… Sabi ko, I think it’s my part to be her love team na suportahan ko siya so I just stayed quiet. I let her take her time para kapag nagsimula na kami sa eksena, magagawa na namin,” he said, adding that it took them several takes to do the scene successfully.

Kiray then admitted that at first, she was hesitant to do so as, “Baka sa next movie ko kapag nagkaroon, mas grabe na dun ‘yung gagawin ko,” noting that she does not like saying no to work.

Sharing how the kissing scene went, Kiray, who mentioned about their wedding in the movie, said that Enchong took the initiative as he knew that she felt nervous. “Mas grabe pa siya kay Derek. Tinalo niya si Derek sobra.” Kiray was paired with actor Derek Ramsay in the movie Love is Blind.

When asked about the better kisser, Kiray said that she has different experiences with Derek and with Enchong. “Hindi sila pwedeng i-compare. Dahil si Derek, sakto lang. Kaya nga sabi ko kanina kay Enchong, grabe siya,” implying that she was taken by surprise.
