'Ang lagi ko ngang sinasabi noon puwede na ako mag-stop ngayon and still be very happy and thankful. God has given me a lot already and wala na akong mai-re-reklamo pa. Pamilyar na yung mga tao sa akin,” he shared during the presscon for his Star Music comeback album Sukli held inside the ABS-CBN compound.

Although he is being dubbed the new Master Rapper of the country, Gloc-9 humbly declined the title which is associated with the late Francis Magalona.

In fact, Gloc-9 said he will never get tired of saying who his inspiration is for his music. 'Yung songwriting and delivery and execution ko ng mga songs ko, yung foundation nun ay si Francis M. kaya hindi puwedeng sabihin ko na ganun (na ako na ang next Master Rapper),” he added.

As the singer and composer of the Ang Probinsyano theme, Gloc-9 saidhe was lucky to get a Kapamilya project. Malaking tulong sa isang artist yun kaya I’m very thankful na nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon to write a song for them. His newest album Sukli features collaborations with other talented artists like KZ Tandingan and Ebe Dancel

Sukli will be exclusively streamed on Spotify beginning May 29 and will have its official album launch on June 5, Sunday at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Taguig.
