Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo-Wurtzbach finally admitted to dating Dr. Mike Varshavski, dubbed as the ‘Sexiest Doctor Alive,’ during her interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda last Thursday, April 14.

“Tito Boy, I dodged this question for a lot of interviews for you,” Pia even told host Boy Abunda, whom she says she really trusts.

When asked about Dr. Mike, she answered, “He’s adjusting to the Filipino ways a lot because it’s very different; the culture is very different. I had to explain to him how it is here in the Philippines, kung paano ba manligaw at kung alam niya ba kung anong ibig sabihin ng panliligaw. Ginagawa naman niya.”

Moreover, she added, “He’s a true gentleman… We’re very busy now but I know he would like to see the Philippines.”

Likewise, Pia also admitted adjusting to the New Yorker’s culture, “Ako, medyo naninibago din ako sa kanya because iba ‘yung kultura nila at medyo naninibago din siya sa’kin because medyo reserved ako. Medyo may barrier ako eh. Siya naman, dahil doon siya lumaki, straightforward siya so may mga adjustments, ganyan. But so far, everything’s okay.”

During the Fast Talk portion, Pia was asked if she had said ‘I love you’ to Dr. Mike. “I wouldn’t say I love you to my friend, Dr. Mike. Pahirapan natin siya. Dapat mauna siya tapos ‘yung parang pag-iisipan ko pa kung sasagot ako,” she jokingly replied.

She also revealed telling Dr. Mike that her duties as Miss Universe are still her top priority for now. “Sa ngayon ito talaga ‘yung number 1 sa akin at sinabi ko sa kanya ‘yun ah, just to be clear. Mixed reactions kasi noong lumabas ‘yung mga balita. Na, ‘ay nako mawawalan na siya ng focus sa trabaho niya, baka ma-dethrone, bawal ang boyfriend, baka mabuntis,’ ang dami kong mga narinig na ganyan. I assure you, guys. Masakit sa kanya pero sinabi ko talaga sa kanya na ito ‘yung number 1 priority ko, sorry. He understands,” she said.
