On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Always Be My Maybe star Arci Munoz said she could relate to her character in the movie. “Pinipitch pa lang nila sa akin yung story sabi ko game, kasi sobra akong relate sa story. Siguro naman tayong lahat naging biktima ng mga pa-fall or kung hindi man, tayo ang naging pafall. I’m sure lahat tayo makakarelate.”

Asked how she feels being considered the “emerging leading lady of Philippine movies with excellent acting skills,” the overwhelmed Arci said, “I really don't know what to say. I’m just really grateful and thankful for the wonderful opportunity and I just dedicate all of this to my Dad.”

She was asked, “halimbawa single ka at single si Gerald (Anderson) at niligawan ka ni Gerald, may pag-asa ba si Gerald Anderson?” Arci didn’t play coy and said, “oo naman po. Sino ba naman ang hindi magkakagusto kay Gerald? Sino ba naman ang hindi sasagutin si Gerald ng oo ‘di ba? Sabi ko kay Gerald, ‘kaya sobrang patay na patay yung mga girls sayo e…’ Sobrang gentleman, ang bait, generous…”

Arci also talked about her hot and extended love scene with Gerald. “It’s really crazy, it’s wild! I think it's the longest love scene we’ve done, both of us, super daring especially for me na I (come) from a very good conservative family and it’s… Sabi ko talaga, ‘Direk Dan (Villegas) ha… parang paunti na ng paunti ang suot ko ha…’”

She added, “siyempre tiwala naman ako sa direktor ko, tsaka Gerald Anderson yan e, pagkakataon ko na…”

She then recounted a scene where she didn’t have to fake her reaction to Gerald’s body and she went slack-jawed. “Dun sa scene na nagtatanggal siya ng kurbata, napalunok ako, tapos nung tinanggal niya yung shirt, napalunok ako sabi ko, ‘aba bakit siya ganun.’ Sabi ko, parang ganun… (Arci mimicking her slack-jaw reaction to Gerald’s naked torso) Sabi ko (to Gerald), ‘bakit ka ganyan, sabi mo mataba ka.’ Ang ganda pala ng katawan nun.”

Arci shared that Direk Dan even had her repeat her raw reaction to Gerald’s body for the scene.

Will her boyfriend get jealous when he sees the movie? Arci exclaimed, “wag ka na manunuod ha!”

In doing the love scene, Arci said she didn’t have difficulty preparing for it because, “with Gerald kasi it was easy. We were both comfortable with each other.” Arci said Gerald didn't take advantage of her and “every time nagka-cut, siya mismo ang kumukuha ng towel.”

But did Arci take advantage of the actor? “Yuck parang ata…hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko ng mga panahong yun.”
