According to actor Patrick Garcia, he met his wife Nikka at a car tire-changing shop.

“Nagpapapalit siya ng gulong. Sabi ko, ‘sino ‘tong magandang ‘to?’ Eh, nagkataon ‘yung owner kasi kaibigan ko. ‘Yung owner din, kaibigan niya. So, hiningi ko ‘yung pangalan niya tapos nagkakilala kami, ‘dun nag-umpisa ‘yun,” Patrick narrated in Tuesday episode of Magandang Buhay, October 4.

The former child star said that he instantly had a crush on Nikka. “Physically attracted

Meanwhile, Nikka admitted that although she knew Patrick was an actor, she said she did not watch Tabing Ilog, Patrick’s big television break.

When asked how Patrick courted her, Nikka shared how sweet her husband is. “With me, sunod siya ng sunod. Kahit saan ako pumunta, nandoon siya and the more you spent time with the person, the more makikilala, the more mo marerealize what kind of a person he is, di ba? Because he was always there, eh siyempre ayun, nagustuhan ko siya lalo,” Nikka giddily recalled.

The couple also talked about reaching out to Patrick’s ex-girlfriend, actress Jennylyn Mercado with whom he has a son, Alex Jazz. While Nikka already told the story in her blog site, Patrick said that Nikka surprised him when she reached out to Jennylyn and informed him that his son will participate in their wedding. He said this made him very happy.

Patrick and Nikka tied the knot on March 21, 2015. They have two daughters, Chelsea and Patrice.
