After months of battling stage 4 lung cancer, Jam Sebastian, one half of the YouTube sensation Jamich, passed away on Wednesday around 10:30 a.m.

Jam's mother, Maricar Sebastian. posted an update on her Facebook account. 'The fight is over we lost the battle. My son Jam Fernando Sebastian just passed away 10:30 am March 4, 2015'

An obviously pained Mich Liggayu, Jam’s fiancee, posted about it on her Facebook account. According to her the family decided to just wait for his medication to run out.

'Hindi ko kayang tignan 'yung ginagawa sa kanya. Na inaayos na siya. Ang sakit marinig na napaguusapan na kung ano ang susuotin niya,' she wrote.

“Pray tayo ulit. But this time mag thank you tayo kasi magiging happy na si Jam with God. Di na siya mahihirapan. Let’s pray na mapuno siya ng love and peace. Angels of God, embrace Jam. Protect him. Lead him, God,” Liggayu added.

She bid her love goodbye by saying, “We love you Jam Fernando Sebastian. I’m sure magiging sobrang ganda and happy ng birthday celebration mo sa Heaven. Sana madream kita na ipaalam mo lang samin na masaya ka na and healthy ulit with God. Thank you for everything… No words can explain. Until we meet again…”

Sebastian was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer during the first quarter of 2014 and had been confined in the hospital since then.

Prior to this incident, the 28-year-old online star had been in a critical condition which led him to be on life support starting from the afternoon of February 26.

In a sudden twist to his story, Sebastian woke up just hours later and even managed to tell his loved ones how much he loved them.

Upon hearing about his critical condition, several stars extended their prayers for him, such as Kris Aquino who even went to the hospital. Pound-for-pound boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, even took to his Instagram account to say a prayer for Jam.

When he was still in a relatively better condition, other stars visited him at the hospital including his idol Vice Ganda and even Hayden Kho.

Some weeks earlier, Sebastian's mother told media that the internet star was already asking for a 'mercy killing' and was losing hope because of his condition. His family refused to give in to his request.
