On Kris TV today, actress-model Isabelle Daza revealed that she and her French boyfriend Adrien Semblat started out on the wrong foot. She remembered not wanting to go out with him then.

“Inintroduce siya sa sa ‘kin with a lot of my friends. Tapos I just got out of a relationship, parang kaka-break like four months ago. So ayoko pa, ayoko pa. Parang for me, foreigner siya so hindi ko siya (type),” she recalled that she did not want to jump into another relationship yet so she turned him down every time he wanted to hang out.

One time, he invited her to play football with some street children at the Manila Bay.

“Sabi niya, ‘hey, I’m playing with some street children sa Manila Bay every Saturday,’ parang outreach so sabi ko, ‘I love football and I love kids, right?’ So sabi ko, okay I'll go.” However, she got sick that Saturday, “I felt under the weather. Alam mo yung masakit yung throat, my eyes are watery… I can’t play for three hours with kids sa ilalim ng sun, right? So nagcancel ako ng last minute. This is the 7th time na nagcancel ako sa kanya,” she explained.

She said that she was resting the whole day when her friend suddenly sent her a text message, inviting her to eat in Rockwell. She agreed to go as she felt better.

“Guess who the first person was I saw sa Rockwell, siya,” she said.

Isabelle said that she looked guilty but she was really home the whole day, resting. She said that he did not seem to believe her so she decided to go out with him. The Nathaniel star said that she even brought her friend to their first date where she discovered that he is actually funny. They dated for four months and they are now together for 6 years.
