In an effort to end persistent rumors, phenomenal star Vice Ganda denied that there’s a brewing rivalry between him and Alex Gonzaga.

Alex has earlier announced that she will be conquering the Big Dome for the first time through her Unexpected Concert on April 25. While the It’s Showtime host will return at the Araneta Coliseum after two years for Vice Gandang Ganda sa Sarili sa Araneta: Eh di Wow! Happening on May 22.

“Ay hindi po. Kung sino man ang nakaisip niyang insecurity kay Alex na ‘yan ay isang hunghang,” he said during the press conference of his 15th year anniversary concert.

“Hindi naman po ako ang nag-schedule nitong [presscon] unang-una. Pangalawa aalis rin po kasi ako papuntang Amerika at mas maganda naman po na habang nasa Amerika ako ay may ingay na nangyayari tungkol sa concert ko ng sa ganon eh hindi naman mahinto ang promotion ng concert ko,” he explained.

Although he has had a number of sold-out concert in Araneta, Vice refuses to be complacent as far as filling the venue to the brim is concerned.

“Kasi siyempre hindi naman natin alam kung mapupuno o may tsansang hindi mapuno ang concert na ito. Kaya dapat promote ng promote and I do not see anything wrong with promoting very early,” Vice said.

If anything, Vice stressed that he’s been nothing but supportive for the first-ever concert of the Inday Bote actress.

“Isa po ako sa mga unang tao na sumusuporta kay Alex Gonzaga. In fact, nagpo-promote po siya sa mga programa ko. Kaya kung may issue kami eh di hindi sana siya nakakapag-promote sa mga programa ko,” Vice explained, “Tsaka kahit hindi niya alam, ako mismo pino-promote ko ang show niya at tumutulong ako na magbigay input sa programa niya.”
