Despite the controversies that they were both embroiled in the past, Hero Angeles said that he is very much open to work again with former onscreen partner turned Korean Pop Star Sandara Park if the latter decides to do a project in the Philippines. Hero was hailed as the Star Circle Grand Questor while Sandara was proclaimed as the runner-up. They were paired up subsequently and headlined successful TV shows and movies.

“Ako naman oo [gusto ko siya makatrabaho] kasi trabaho naman ‘yun tsaka ang tagal na rin nong huli ko siyang nakatrabaho, 2005 pa yata, open naman ako,” Hero said. Sandara expressed her desire to star in a Filipino movie during her recent visit to the Philippines.

Even if he declared in his interview with Showbiz Inside Report in 2012 that Sandara’s departure in 2007 cost him his thriving career, Hero said he is actually happy with what the Korean star has achieved in her career as a performer. “Masaya naman ako for her kasi dream niya ‘yan, even before she even join the contest alam ko nag-training pa siya dito para lang kumanta and then nag-artista siya and then naging singer nga.”

The actor admitted that he is not in contact with Sandara ever since they parted ways. “No wala, siguro sa grupo ko (Star Circle Quest) wala na akong nakausap, ano lang siguro nakausap ko through chat sina Neri (Naig), si Melissa (Ricks).”

As he is currently waiting for new opportunities from showbiz to come knocking on his door, Hero shared that he will currently focused on making artworks which has been his job ever since he took a hiatus from show business. “Tuloy-tuloy lang ‘yung mga iba kong ginagawa pero ‘yung sa showbiz hindi ko pa sure, let's see.”

Hero admitted that he wants to do a showbiz comeback if he will be given the chance. “Oo naman kasi ano siya eh kumbaga isa sa mga first love ko rin kaya after nong mag-aral ako, ito ‘yung isa sa mga ginawa ko so babalik at babalikan ko rin, feeling ko eh, kasi kahit saan ako lumusot don din papunta,” he said.

The actor has a message for those who still support him after all these years and for those who wish to watch him again on TV. “Siyempre thank you sa continuous support nila after 10 years andiyan pa rin sila. Tapos happy ako na itong last week lang na mag-guest ako [sa ASAP] nabasa ko ‘yung mga comments nila, ‘yung excitement nila,” he stated.
