Actress-blogger Saab Magalona, daughter of late Master Rapper Francis Magalona, got hitched to her longtime boyfriend musician Jim Bacarro via a private wedding ceremony held in Baguio on January 24.

Photos of the intimate ceremony held at the St. Ignatius Church inside the Philippine Military Academy which was attended by her family and friends broke on social media through the couple’s official wedding hashtag “#JimSaabSaveTheWorld.”

Saab was a blushing bride, who wore two dreamy wedding gowns by designer Sassa Jimenez, while Jim was dashing in a Ziggy Savella suit.

Among the principal sponsors were husband and wife Michael V and Aya and TAPE INC’s CEO, Malou Choa Fagar. While Saab’s entourage was made of her sisters. Maxene took on the Maid of Honor position, their older sister Unna Fernando-Lu was the Matron of Honor, while Clara Magalona was among the bridesmaids. Their brothers Frank, Elmo, Arkin and Nicolo meanwhile were part of Jim’s entourage.

Also in attendance were Saab’s best friends/bridesmaids like Miss World 2013 Megan Young, her younger sister Lauren Young, and model Janna Tee, among others. Meanwhile, Elmo’s girlfriend Janine Gutierrez was also among the guests, as well as the band Pedicab led by Raymund Marasigan.

According to posts, the reception, which was hosted by TV personality Tim Yap and was held at the Baguio Country Club had a “nerdy” theme complete with books as the couple’s stage backdrop and a library card menu card.

Apart from performing a surprise song number for his wife with a song that he composed, Jim and Saab, who happened to be bandmates, also treated their wedding guests to a performance.

A day after their wedding, Saab thanked those who wished their union well through her Instagram account and shared about how they spent their first night as husband and wife.
