Amid the recent trial that hit their family after her father Dennis Roldan was sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping, Michele Gumabao remarked that her family is stronger than ever. 'With my daddy siguro mahirap siyempre po but we're strong as a family at nakita ko ‘yung importansya ng pagiging strong namin at close namin so pag may dumadating na problema pag may dumadating na bagyo or trials kung strong naman ‘yung foundation namin as a family, hindi kami malalaglag so ‘yun very thankful so taas noo pa rin and always smiling,' she said.

Michelle assured that his dad is staying positive despite the trials. 'He's okay, siguro alam ng lahat na siguro down time ‘to for him but I could really say that he is happy, he chooses to be happy and he still thanks God for everything. Okay naman siya, we visit him every week, he's doing well,' she shared.

Now that the holiday season is fast approaching, Michelle relayed that they would want to spend it with her dad as much as possible. 'If gusto talaga may paraan so kung kailangan namin pumunta ng malayo para makipag-Christmas sa kanya gagawin namin ‘yun, sama-sama, susuportahan namin siya sa kahit anong gusto niya,' she divulged.

With some bashers who are quick to judge her father and her family, Michelle remarked that their faith and trust for their father would never falter no matter what. 'Ako naman po ever since naman tinatak ko na sa isip ko na hindi lahat kakampi ko so lagi na lang ako nagpapasalamat na at least pinapa-realize nila sa amin na kailangan pa rin namin ipakita sa lahat ng tao kung sino kami as a family at kung sino kami ng daddy ko at naniniwala naman kami sa daddy ko at proud naman ako sa kanya kahit anong nangyari so ‘yun sa relationship na lang namin siguro ‘yun mauuwi kung gaano ka-strong,' she said.

Michelle also shared that she still wants to pursue show business. 'Opo siguro more on hosting ang talagang fino-focus ko ngayon at volleyball pa rin so kailangan pa ring maglaro. Hopefully sana gusto ko pa rin ma-try mag-act, never ko pang natra-try,” she revealed. Michele relayed that she wants to work with her brother, Marco Gumabao, in an acting project. “Dream ko kami dalawa ng kapatid ko,' she said.
